In fact, termite damage is more common than damage caused by storms, fires or earthquakes. Yet, this damage is rarely covered by homeowner’s insurance.

How the Sentricon® System eliminates termite colonies.

If termites are found on your property, our highly-trained professionals will install Sentricon® stations around your property in areas where the termites were found as well as in additional areas conducive to termite activity. This procedure not only eliminates existing colonies, but also eliminates any new colonies that may invade your property.

The Sentricon® System uses a cellulose-based bait matrix called Recruit™ termite bait which is placed inside the Sentricon stations. The termites feed on the bait and take it back to the colony to share with their nest mates until the colony is eliminated.

Once we have determined the colony has been eliminated, the remaining bait will be removed from the Sentricon station and will be replaced with a wood monitoring device which we will routinely inspect to ensure no additional colonies have invaded the area. If a new colony is found, we will replace the wood monitoring device with Recruit™ termite bait and restart the process until the new colony has been eliminated.

This continuous process of monitoring and baiting ensures your property remains protected from future invaders— kind of like a termite security system.

The premier bait used in the Sentricon System was the first termite treatment active ingredient accepted for registration under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative based on its low impact on human health, low toxicity to non-target organisms (birds, fish, and plants) and low potential for groundwater contamination when compared with other commercial available termite treatment options. And, it’s the only termite control product to ever receive the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award. No wonder it’s green!
