Jay Taylor Exterminating Co., Inc. was originally started by J. W. Taylor Sr. in 1941. The original office was in downtown Wilmington, NC. The second generation of family owners included J. W. Taylor Jr. and his sister Dorothy T. Page. In 1986, the company was passed on to J. W. Taylor III. Today, two sons, J. W. Taylor IV and Stephen G. Taylor are the fourth generation of family to control the business. The family interest in the business has helped to set and maintain the high quality of work and outstanding customer service by our employees. Jay Taylor Exterminating Co., Inc. believes in maintaining the highest quality of customer service which includes quick response times and the fulfillment of each customer’s expectations.

We believe in community involvement. We support the community with time and donations. Particular interests are education through Cape Fear Community College, The Cameron Business School at UNCW and New Hanover Medical Regional Center.

We constantly work to remain among leaders of the industry with new technologies that improve our effectiveness while minimizing our environmental impact. We are members of PestOne, a group of companies striving to find new methods to improve our services. Jay Taylor Exterminating belongs to the North Carolina Pest Management Association of which two generations have been honored as Past Presidents. We belong to the National Pest Management Association. Jay Taylor Exterminating belongs to the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
